| Purpose: |
To provide
violence, drug and alcohol prevention programs targeting students
at all levels of instruction and that includes employees and
parents to coordinate with other agencies and community groups to
all participating school districts. |
| Goals: |
All students will be educated
in learning environments that are safe, drug-free and conducive to
learning. |
Strategies toward achieving goals:
- A planned process of prevention/education
approaches and activities designed to preclude the onset of
violence, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug problems will be
implemented in each district.
- A planned process of intervention approaches and
activities designed to change a person or group of persons behavior
who may be in the beginning stages of violence, alcohol, tobacco,
and/or other drug problems will be implemented.

| Deliverables: |
- Collaborate with each district to determine the
consortium participants.
- Meet with each district superintendent to decide
the program focus for the SDFS program for their particular
district, obtain district allocation amounts, and receive a
district password for the CCIP
- Collaborate with each district to insure the
SDFS program goals correlate with the district CCIP
- Prepare the SDFS grant for each district
including goals, performance measures, strategies, action steps,
and budget
- Enter the SDFS plan online in each district's
CCIP for approval.
- Prepare/send invoices for reimbursement by
districts for services provided through the consortium.
- Work with all building principals of the
consortium to compile evaluative data from each building.
- Prepare each district's final evaluation and
submit online.
- Contract with various agencies/individuals to
provide services based on district/consortium allocations.
