The Perry-Hocking ESC provides all information necessary to become a certified substitute teacher or substitute aide/attendant in the local Perry County school districts.

To become a substitute teacher

To become a classroom monitor:
Same requirements as a substitute aide/attendant.
A written recommendation from a local school principal and
superintendent.
Attend a classroom monitor training.
Complete a two-day classroom shadowing.
