Welcome to the ALPHA math program web page. Its purpose is to provide you with an understanding of the math classroom environment, expectations, and undertakings. The first link provides details of how I manage the classroom and what I expect of each student. Each student has his/her own copy of the compendium and has been encouraged to take it home to share with his/her parent(s)/guardian(s). These expectations, rules, and procedures are discussed in detail with students at the beginning of every nine weeks, and are reinforced throughout the term. The homework link shows you every day's assignment, by class, so that you can keep up with work assignments expected of the students. Finally, a list of useful links is provided. Some of the links we actually use interactively in the classroom, some provide supplemental materials that may be useful in improving math skills at home, and there is also a link to the Ohio Department of Education that is useful for a multitude of purposes.
